Pizza Works traditional secret family recipe has been preserved and handed down from generation to generation. In addition, Pizza Works is recognized locally for it's made to order hand tossed authentic New York Style thin crust pizza.

As a child of Italian immigrants that came to United States in the late fifties, I began to work in my uncle's pizza shop in Mohawk, NY at the age of 15. I have been tied to this industry for over 30 years, and while it's hard to believe, this one tiny take out pizzeria, has been training grounds for many friends and relatives that now spot the east coast with pizza shops from North Carolina to Vermont.

In the summer of 1983, and with youthful ambition, I had opened our first shop in my hometown of Little Falls, NY. A self made job... every summer... how great was that! Ed's Pizza Shop was opened leaving just enough time to teach my parents and younger brother how to toss pies before I returned to college at RIT. Ed's Pizza Place still operates today and is run by my parents.


30 years later, Pizza Works currently owns and operates two locations, Ballston Spa, New York and Burnt Hills, New York. Pizza Works was established in 1988 in Ballston Spa and opened its second location in Burnt Hills in 1991 primarily as take out pizzerias. In January of 2005, Pizza Works relocated its Burnt Hills location out of a strip plaza and into its own freestanding building. With added full service wait staff, Pizza Works has come to be known for great pizza and a great place for the whole family. In 2011 we are pleased to welcome our new location in Saratoga Springs NY.
